SUCCESS!!!!!

Isaac's surgery was a success! It was a very good experience. Isaac and I felt such peace. We could feel all of your prayers and the blessing John gave Isaac helped alot. I think I prepared Isaac so well he was excited for it! He couldn't wait to get in his special hospital bed wearing his special hospital gown and socks. He was so brave and when they rolled him away from us into the surgery room he said "Bye, see you later!" He amazes me that kid. The doctor said all went well and he shouldn't have any more problems. The waking up was rough. He was having some pain and throwing up a bit, but when they gave him more medicine and he felt good he didn't want to leave. When we got home he said " I want to go back to the doctor, that was fun!" And he gets to lay on our couch all day tomorrow watching movies and eating some of his favorite treats. How can you go wrong? So, there you go! I am glad it is over! One down one more to go!

Isn't it amazing how strong our kids are. I think it is the moms that had a hard time. Such a smart boy. Watch out! I'm sure you will guide him well, just don't forget that you are important too. (something I should have done)

Hey Lis, remember Nylene from the old MCC ward? I sat by her in RS today. She got married in September and finishes dental hygiene school in May. She and her husband are in our ward until summer when they're done with school.

Small world huh?

I am glad you found her. It is definately a small world, especially in Mesa AZ. I am glad she is married and happy? I suppose.

wow, I had no clue all of that was going down! I am glad that everything is ok though. That is a lot to deal with all at once but I am glad you are doing well too. It is always good to see your cute boys up on the blog! Good news with the gluten change too, the good thing is that there are more gluten free products than there used to be?

Yay! I'm so glad everything went well for little Isaac ... he looks so cute in his little hospital bed, lol! I think you handled it so well, helping him feel like it could be an adventure. That rocks! As for your q's ... no, Jake is not the first brother to get married. Jarom, the older one is also married, as well. He and his wife live in Oklahoma so ... we're definitely spreading out. Hey, that would be so fun to have you guys close again! Maricopa is such a fun place to live because all the people here are so young and there's so many kids, but there are some drawbacks, too, so if you guys are seriously considering it, I'll give you the lowdown so you can make a really educated decision about it. I'm sure Maricopa could use another dentist ... I only know of 2 here so far, so, that would be awesome! Tell John and the boys hi from us (Scott really misses him, too!) and again, I'm just so happy that everything went well for Isaac's surgery! Much love --
