Truman and Kenlee

So, Truman has been chillin' with the ladies lately.
We decided that if they weren't cousins, this first one could be there engagement picture!
Isn't that so sweet! Look at both their expressions!

This last one cracks me up!
You can literally hear him saying, "huuuugh?"

My sister Callie and her family flew to my house for a few days before I drove her to Ohio
where her husband got a job in Sandusky.

We had a fun, busy time unpacking with 2 babies and 2 crazy boys!
They live in this little Lake town right by Lake Erie.
I know I sound ignorant, but I had no idea a huge Lake could look like the ocean.
We spent almost everyday at the beach. Waves, sand, castles..... everything! Heaven!

I forgot my camera of course. :(

But I feel so blessed to have Callie and Randon and Kenlee so close!
The Lord is so good to us and I am forever grateful!

July 4th Weekend

We got to spend the 4th of July with the Bauerles!
We had so much fun!

Late nights!
Laughs!
The kids played constantly!

And we couldn't get enough of these two!

Lucy and Truman in the bath!

Watching the parade down town!

Riding a horse down town.

At the Fire works!

Easton took this one above of cute Wyatt!

Truman slept through it all!

I love celebrating Independence Day with loved ones!

Miss you already Bauerles!
John's Graduation

So, just a little tid bit.... John graduated from UNLV School of Dental Medicine!
This is what happens when you move across the country the SAME day!

That weekend was the John show. And I couldn't have been more proud!
He has done so much for that school and for veterans around the country!

He and his friend Jesse Falk.

The class of 2011

John was presented with The Deans Leadership Award.
And was honored for starting the Sgt. Clint Ferrin
Dental Clinic.

They presented this display that will remain permanently in
the halls at the school. It had a plaque about Clint and
a replica of every award he had ever received.

Then he was promoted to Captain in the National Guard.

I can't say enough about this man and the roller coaster these last 4 years have been!
He has worked so hard and worried and stressed so much!

Much of that stress came from trying to run the clinic too.
But the clinic has gone National and many other schools are going to take it on.
Thousands of veterans will receive free dental care because of John.
( He would tell me to add that it wasn't him..... he was inspired to do it)

I love, love, love him!

We DID IT!
What we've been doing this summer......

John officially started school on Wednesday. Our magical summer is over..... for the most part.
We have loved literally every second!

Running in this...

Face painting.

Painting furniture.

Spray paint from Walmart!

Planting a garden.

The first pepper.

Enjoying our back yard.

Picking bouquets.
(that grew on their own,
no watering needed!)

Watching the Cincinatti Reds!
(Yes in Ohio, by the Ohio river!)

Swimming

Spying on our little friends.

Playing at many parks!

Truman's first swing ride!
(He loved it right!)

Just playing around...... being together!

Lucy and Truman

Amy (Johns' sister) and her family came to stay with us for July 4th weekend!
I will post more about that later!

But, we decided to try out my sun room with Amy's awesome camera!

Aren't they darling! ( They are only one week apart!)
