HAPPY 24TH OF JULY!

We spent our 24th at our stake's amazing celebration! Food, fun and fireworks. Real Mexican taco's, indian fry bread, snow cones, cotton candy, hamburgers and nachos. American dream food! The boys fished for prizes, played games, jumped on those blow up jumpers, threw balls and played in the water. There was live music, a talent show, and the most amazing fire work show I've seen in a long time. They had patriotic music playing. When it was all said and done I was so grateful to live in America and so grateful for the pioneers and all the faithful people who have truly made it possible for us to live here and live like we do! With true freedom in every way! Wow I am proud to be an American!

Happy 1st Birthday Sweet Easton!

We had a little double birthday party for John and Easton on Sunday. Amy (John's sister) and her husband and son Ethan were here and John's school friend Jesse and his wife Lindsey and there son Corbin were here. We had John's moms famous carrot cake with cream cheese, coconut icing. It was fun and simple.
Looking back on this year with Easton has been quite the year. Our Easton is an amazing little boy. He is so sweet and so happy and never stops moving. We have always felt (without sounding cheesey) such an amazing spirit about him. He is such a huge part of our little family. We are so glad he is ours!

MEET SARGAENT!!!!! He's a boxer and a new member of our family!

Yep, John talked me into getting a dog. After 4 years of marriage! I gave in and let go of my selfish reasons.... hate the hair, the noise, the mess, the work, the money. The only thing that convinced me was that he was free off of craig's list, he is pure bread, nuedered, trained, and he loves children. My boys love him! They just look at him out the window all day when we aren't playing with him in the 100 degree weather! And we go on walks with him every morning and night when it isn't too hot. All of us as a family! I have been asking John to do that with me since we've been married and if a dog is what it took than yahoo!!!! And John and Isaac have a little project to do together. It is fun, I guess!?!

HAPPY 4TH OF JULY!

We spent our 4th with our wonderful neighbors the Camerdilla's. We used to be next door neighbors at our old Apartment complex and they are some of our very favorite people in the world! We did our own fire works and had some pizza and hot dogs and corn on the cob! We laughed and laughed and played on the trampoline in the water. It was so fun! I truly am so grateful for everything! Just the fact that everyday I can do whatever I want whenever I want with whoever I want. Especially with all my boys! A sweet little family in our ward brought over some cookies and a note telling us that they were thinking about us because of the sacrifice of John's brother Clint on this Independane day. It touched us very much, especially John and made us grateful for kind people who also enjoy and appreciate their freedom.

AUNT DENA OR DENEE!

My sister Dena came to stay with us for a couple of weeks this summer. This girl is one in a million. She just graduated from highschool at 17 years old and is heading off to ASU with a full ride scholarship! She cooks, cleans, babysitts, provides great conversation, loves her nephews and never complains. When I am sure her situation is not ideal for a 17 year old. I have loved every second of her being her. We drop to the couch exhausted at night and spend some time together with John and sometimes Netflicks!

This was at Mount Charleston for our ward camp out! So much fun, no sleep but worth every second of beautiful weather and amazingly fun company! Isaac was showing me his roasted marshmellow! Yummy!

We had to keep Easton pinned up some of the time with his friend Dakota because he ate rocks faster then we could get them out!
