Easton Mark

This Easton is getting so grown up!
He loves sports right now!
Hours of basketball on the neighbors hoop after school and is loving soccer!

This is a picture of the school pictures I didn't order.
Hence the mis mathed clothes and flash spot.
But look how big he looks!
So cute!

One of his favorite daily costumes!

Soccer

Just in our sun room.
Look at those green eyes!
To die for!

He brings such a sweet feeling to our home.  And he loves his brothers so much!

Love this boy!

Happy Birthday to Isaac!

My sweet Isaac is 8!  I still can't believe it!

He is waiting to be baptized until July when we will be with family!

I know it is cliche, but time has flown!
My baby can't be accountable!

We had a simple party and the park.
Friends, cupcakes, presents.
Isaac even choose store bought frosting over home made!
SPOILED! :)

Isaac is a bundle of fun and life!
He brings so much joy and excitement to our home.
He is doing so well in school and is a natural at the piano!
We love you Birthday Boy!

Spring Break 2012

What an awesome week!
We had our dad part of the time ( when he wasn't working on presentations for school)!
We worked hard in the mornings and played all afternoon into the evening!

We did TONS of yard work!
We cleaned out the fridge and the van!
We registered the van and John got a new battery for it!
(All these things had been weighing heavy on my mind.)

We decorated Easter eggs,
went to lots of parks,
jumped on the trampoline with sprinklers,
went to an arcade place with dad called Gatti Town (even got pizza),
had some late night movies,
and lots of crafts!

And last but not least!
We camped in our back yard with our friends the Stanfields!

We got a fire pit which we will use all summer!
Dined on foil dinners and smores!

Addy, Isaac, Evan, Easton and Owen.

Easton and Evan!
It was hard to get a picture of these goofs!
They are the best of friends!

Addy and Isaac!
Some more goofs!

The plan was to sleep outside,
but it was 33 degrees outside that night.

So we brought the tent in and they
slept in it in the living room!
They loved it and had so much fun!
The family time this week was priceless!
John helped me so much and we got so much done!

So grateful for good friends as well!
Now back to real life! pooh!

Box House

Isaac made this little house out of a big box we had.
Easton said he wanted to sleep in it.
I said sure thinking he wouldn't really.

When I came to check on them before I went to bed ...
this is what I found.
Oh childhood!
Truman D

This guy is our light!
He has such personality these days!
He knows what he wants. And he grunts "uhh, uhh" till he gets it.

He makes us all laugh and is so happy and silly!
He is 15 1/2 months old and speeding through life!

We decided his mind goes faster than his body can keep up
so he gets hurt all the time!
He is constantly running into things and falling down!
I feel so bad for him!

His brothers can't get enough of him!

We love this guy!
Awards

The boys school does awards in their classes at the end of every semester.
They really look forward to it and it is so motivating to keep up the hard work.

Isaac got the Super Student award for working hard
and turning in all his assignments on time and done well.

Isaac wanted a pic with Truman.... (that worked out)

Easton got the Super Reader and Hard Worker awards!

They both work so hard and try their best.
They complain, but they always do it and I am pleased with that!
Love these boys!
Lexington Seasons

I couldn't let all this beauty go with out blogging about it!
I just soak it all in daily!

My attempt to capture spring in Lexington...
Second official try at water color...
Not sure

It only looked like this for about 2 days this winter!
My favorite tree right outside our front door.

Ahhhh spring...

These are the blossoms on the tree right outside
the boys window upstairs. So I get to look at them everyday!
Amazing! God is truly THE artist!

My favorite tree again right after the threatening tornado.
Who wouldn't love Lexington Kentucky?

Reflection

I observed the most beautiful woman at my gym the other day.

She was about 75 years old. She was doing yoga poses. She was so focused and peaceful.

I had just finished filling my head with junk about poor Demi Moore and how she is loosing it.
All on a count of the fact that she has completely placed her self worth in her image and what people think of her looks and body.
She admitted that.
Sad.

So now contrast, this woman I am watching. She has all natural grey/white hair with the old blond ends. Only it is soft and sleek and pulled back.
She has on these awesome stretch pants with little hearts in different, bright colors all over them.
She is wearing some funky yellow socks too.

I couldn't help myself....

I walked over to her ( when she came out of a pose) and squeezed her arm, looking right into her sparkly, crystal blue eyes and said " You are adorable! And I love your pants!"

Her face lit up and she gasped, "Thank you so much!"

I then told her I hope I am still doing yoga when I am her age and she assured me I would if I just keep doing it every day.

Here is Demi, who has fought the aging process, tried to remain young, and has fallen pitifully.
We should embrace old age gracefully! Aging is beautiful!

Self confidence, self worth and sincere love for oneself is true beauty!

I hope I am the natural, happy, shining, heart sprinkled pants wearing lady when I grow old.

Sisters

I have taken way to long for this post!

Dena flew from Arizona with her little Ammon to visit and Callie and Kenlee drove down from Ohio.

Words do not describe what this did for my soul!

There is nothing in this world like a sister.

We crafted, and cooked and laughed and danced and played and kissed sweet babie!

Heaven I would say!

We made these pencil skirts we found on pinterest.
Well, Dena did!

The first time I met this happy, adorable boy!

Bath time!

Ammon and I.

Truman and Aunt Dena.
( If it looks like he is crying or unhappy in every picture it is because he is!)
We decided he is a home body who like just us at home.
Too much going on and he is a grump!

Ammon and Aunt Callie!
Kenlee and I!

Thank you for traveling so far my dear sisters!
Life is complete with you in it!
I already miss you terribly!
