TIME OUT IS WORKING?
I walk passed Isaac who is in time out for being unkind to his friend Justin who was over. He had his face in the corner, his head in his hands and these were his words..." Heavenly Father, grateful I won't yell at my mom...grateful I'll be Justin's friend...grateful I won't push and hit. Name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
I just about died! Is that sweet or what? Now if it would just sink in and stick!

Aww...lis....that is really sweet. It is working I'm sure!
that has to be an amazing moment as a mom...to know that the values you are teaching and trying to instill into your children is REALLY working! :) so sweet!!
You're doing a good job if he saying prayers in time out. That should make you smile and do backflips. What a sweetie..!
Those moments make all the hard work and tears worth it. You can see the future adult emerging. Warms your heart. P.S. We will be in Vegas at The Palms for a board meeting on the 30th of Nov. thru the 2nd of December. We might see you.
How funny... Isaac is adorable, and you are a great mom!
SO CUTE! Glad you blogged about it!
Whew! I wish my Ellie would say prayers in time-out-- maybe I can teach such a thing. It might make it easier on both of us!
hey, I got your message, and I will call you soon... until then my blog is eyrefamily3.blogspot.com! Good to hear from you, I'll talk to you soon!
This is so cute. I love it. I love when you get proof that it is all working and worth it. Josh put his toys in time out once. It was really cute. He made one toy hit the other and the other put the naughty toy in time out. :)
