Update

So, I have been awful about posting lately!
But seriously...... we live in the Garden of Eden!
And if you lived in the G of E, you would be outside taking it all in too!

We call this our magical summer!
When in our lives will our Daddy have 6 wks off from work? NEVER!
So we are making the most of it and LOVING it!

I don't see how any one could be sad here.
You wake up to such beauty it is inspiring!

We have done a lot of fun things! All the pics are on John's phone and I am waiting for him to email them to me!

So for now heeeeeer's Truman!

First baby food! He finally loves it!

Can't you tell?

Isaac gave him this balloon to hold!

With Daddy!

We couldn't love this 6 month old any more!

Squish, eat, kiss, devour, love!!!!!

Cave Run Lake (Our first camping trip in the south)

Another Perio Resident and his family invited us to go camping last minute.
We packed in an hour and drove about 1 1/2 hours to a little piece of Heaven!

The lake had risen 14 ft and some of the campsites were under water.
The sunset was gorgeous on the lake.
Here is Tru and I enjoying it!

That night the adults stayed up till 2:30 a.m.!
Ridiculous! But so much fun!

The next morning we swam in this warm lake.
It was so wierd that it wasn't cold! It wasn't cold at night
either. It stayed about 60. So we slept nice and cozy in our tent.

The boys loved it of course! :)

This is what our drive home looked like!

Then they took a bath of course!

Truman (5 months old)

ie: Baby Tru, Trumers, Trums, Tru Tru

Oh how we love this boy! None of us can get enough!
We play with him and love him all day!
He laughs especially hard for Isaac who completely adores him.

Isaac can often be heard saying, "Oh Trumers, you are the cutest baby in the whole world! I want to eat your fat cheeks!"

He talks and giggle all day!
So fat and yummy!

Lexington Kentucky

We have been here for 1 week!
This starts John's 3 year Periodontal Residency.

Here are some pictures of the home we are renting.
We have officially named it The Sun House!

Love this little mud room!

Entry Way

Dining Room (to the right)

The Sun Room (my favorite)
The walls aren't green, they are a yellow tan.

Love my kitchen! ( So many cupboards!)

These frames have since been filled with Leah's photography!

Downstairs play/t.v. room!

Stairs up to the bedrooms. Just normal 3 bed rooms and laundry.

Our wooded back yard!

Back porch.

Our little bunny friend. He lives here along with about
6-8 chipmunks and squirrels and gorgeous cardinals and
red robins and blue jays! I love watching them out the windows!

We feel so blessed to be living here!

Our ward has been amazing so far! A lot of people showed up the first night to unload.
Then one of the ladies stayed for 3 hours cleaning!
The next day she brought cookies and got a list of what I needed at Sam's Club!
(We have since eaten dinner with them and their super fun teenagers!)
That same day, 3 young men showed up and asked what they could do to help.
Another sister brought a casserole and 3 others called and wanted to come clean!

Truly wonderful! We have felt SO welcomed!

I went to the boys school and they were having a bi-annual family picnic on blankets on the grass! Grandparents and parents were there! It is an amazing school, so I hear!

We couldn't be happier!
Well...... accept that we are across the entire country! :(

Love and miss you all!

P.S.
Today the house officially felt and smelled like my home..... I made bread. :)

Farewell Las Vegas

Four years has gone by way too fast! I feel like I blinked and it was gone!

We have got to hold on to each day, because it really does fly by!

My heart is over flowing with gratitude for this place and the people here!
Good, good people whom I will miss desperately!
I have learned so much and hopefully grown up some.
I will take a piece of everyone with me always!

I am grateful we feel very guided to go to Kentucky, because this would be too difficult!
I love this family away from home!

I pray the Lord's choicest blessing on all!

Love you truly!

Roller Coaster

I feel like I am on a roller coaster with Isaac......
Ups and downs all the time.
But today I am sharing an up and a funny.

First the up:

I was doing the dishes after dinner and the boys were getting ready for bed.
Isaac came up to me and said " Mom, is there anything I can do to help you?"

Imagine my face... utter shock! Eyes wide! ( He has never said this to me before!)
I kissed his little face over and over and told him he made me the happiest mamma ever and than I put him to work. And work he did!

Second the funny:

Then we were driving home from school and one of the girls in our car pool was telling Isaac that roosters are married to like 40 chicken and they give them the eggs to lay.
Isaac thought for a minute and then said,
" Wow, that is one busy rooster!"
He knows not how "busy" he really is!

I laughed and laughed!
Love him!

And here are some random pictures of our smiley, fat baby!

Big eyes for you Randon!
