Meet Our New Friends
These new friends could be considered new members of our family. But those of you who know how I feel about inside pets, know how difficult this is for me.
Meet Babbling Babbs or just Babbs.
She is a talker.
Easton has claim on her.
This is Grace. She is very quiet.
Isaac has claim on her.
THey will fly across the house to find me and wait for me to pick them up and then they perch on my head or shoulders. ( I feel like the bird lady).
The girls(we call them) were raised from eggs by children and hand fed. These lovlies are very social!
These new friends could NOT be considered members of the family. They dwell in the back yard in a jar of dirt.

I can hear the squaking now! You are a better woman than me...how fun to have some birdies!(and worms...yuck!)
Love you....
Sweet little birds! I love them.
And you are the coolest bird lady ever!
Just make sure the girls don't meet the worms.
oh i couldn't do birds, you are a good mommy! i could handle the worms better than the birds honestly!
You are funny Brooks!
They actually don't squak very much. And if we put a sheet over their cage they don't make a peep!
For a person who isn't a real fan of pets, its amazing that your family has talked you into three now.
Has Babbs pooped on your head yet like that bird did when you were little. You're a great bird woman. Do you sing the song all day?
Having animals around over the last 30+ years has been a trial for me also. We have had dogs, rabbits, finches, cockatiels, turtles, hamsters, etc.and at the present time the boys have snakes. Of all the animals around i have to admit that the snakes are the most quite and the least messy. The joy of raising boys!!Good luck and have fun. Tell Cara to add me if you would i love to see what you are all up to.
Your birds are so fun! Thanks for sharing them! I love that they love your hair! Great Pictures!
