ONE OF THE BEST MOMENTS OF MY LIFE!

JOHN- "I'm still hungry what can I have to eat?"

LISA-"You can have some toast and jam on that white bread." (Today was bread baking day and we were all out of home made bread. We had a loaf of enriched, white, "glue" bread...... (I call it) because Easton had diarrhea for a few days and we needed some easy to digest stuff.)

JOHN- "Your not going to believe it, but that sounds completely unappetizing!"

LISA- "HALLELUJAH! PRAISE THE LORD!" ( I really shouted that!)

Let me ENLIGHTEN you on the last 5 1/2 years of my marriage. BREAD has been an on-going BATTLE (in the most mild sense of the word). I am a 100% whole wheat bread lover. And think that everything else is blasphemy. John (up until now) was a white bread ONLY kind of guy. We have always had two different loaves of bread, two different kinds of pancakes and waffles and such. But now thanks to white wheat ground fresh for the flour.......we are a 100% WHOLE WHEAT family. I never thought I would see the day! I jumped up and gave him a big hug and kiss!

Thanks Mom and Cara for the recipe and know how!

I LOVE YOU JOHNNY!

You are hilarious Lisa! I eat wheat bread but only because I know its good for me. Give me a piece of white Grandma Sycamore's bread anyday!

I so agree! We had to buy store bread while we were moving and Brynlee told me it wasn't as good as mine.

Congrats on the success with John! That's awesome. Have you posted your recipe for the white wheat? I wish I had a grinder. I have to buy it from the store in the flour form.

I have posted the recipe. It was about 5 or 6 months ago. I use the same recipe for all my dough......for rolls and cinnamon rolls and bread sticks and whatever else I think of.
