This is kindof how it goes around here. John had had several nights of waking up at 2 or 3 in the morning to study for finals. He came home one afternoon and said he had to take a nap before he coudl go in his room and study some more. (My car seats happened to be out of the car from being in Leah's van) And so the boys (led by Isaac) brought there car seats over by their dad to watch him sleep. They just yearn to be near him. Any little thing is good enough for them. They sat there and played queitly for 15 minutes while he slept. They miss him. And so do I! I am proud of all his hard work which is essentially for our family!

Oh that is so sweet! Kids really do need their Daddy's. Hope you will get some time with him soon...are finals done yet?
Oooh, this just made me laugh and feel so sad at the same time. Those boys love their Daddy so much!
I rememer how that the girls didn't see their Dad except for a quick FHE on Mondays, nothing Tues, Wed, Thurs, and only briefly on Friday before our date night, Sat morning before 9AM and all day on Sunday minus hometeaching and church callings.
I hope things are going a tad easier since we talked on the phone!
Oh boy do I feel your pain! DENTAL SCHOOL IS TOUGH! I've been told too that one day it will be worth it. I can't wait for that day!

Lisa, that has to be so hard with your hubby in school and so busy and tired... I would have a hard time with that. But you are amazing and strong. So sweet of your sister to come and stay and help out - she was heaven sent for sure. And I'm so impressed that you tried out for American Idol, so neat! Hey, could you send me your e-mail address??
