The End of a Phase.....
The Beginning of a New Life

My dear neighbor Ann Richardson just got baptized on Saturday.
I have had the blessed privilege of being a part of her discussion process.
It has been months of amazing discovery for her and awakening for me!

I will dearly miss our weekly visits!
(No bake cookies with duct tape for my birthday)
so they wouldn't open on their bikes

I will miss these the Elders as well, who have truly become my brothers.
They call or text me several times a week to ask me questions about cooking
or sewing, or washing, or freezing things! You name it! They call me there
mom/sister (since I am only 5 years older than one of them!)
I love them dearly!
They came over at 9 p.m. to bring me a treat and these tie
birthday cards! So thoughtful and sweet!

Here is Truman at the beginning of church in his first tie!

Here he is on the way home!
Can't get enough of this little guy! I treasure every moment of every day!

Winter Day

We woke up to this today.

I have to admit I find it BEAUTIFUL!
Our Truman

This boy is sheer delight!
He laughs and waddles and falls all over the house!
We all want to eat his cute face all day long!

These are his no slip sock/shoes!

I took pictures of his 1 yr. pictures!
Love this sweet boy!

Even though the days are a little long and lonely with just Truman and I at home....
We find lots to do together!
We laugh and play and read books and do puzzles and play out side when it's warm enough!
I know he does get a little bored and is so happy when the big boys get home!
And oh he LOVES his Daddy!

I am grateful everyday for this sweet little angel in my life!
I feel my heart will burst with love for him.

The Real Christmas 2012 Post

So I didn't do this Christmas justice in my last lame post.
This was one of the best Christmases I have ever had.

One reason I think is because last year I was waiting to give birth to Truman and have no remembrance of it it at all!

Another reason is because I can honestly say that I whole-heartedly tried to focus on the Savior and His birth this season. I made that focus for my family as well.

Another reason is because I truly felt the sacrifice of my family who drove soooooo far to be with us!

We laughed and ate and played games and just soaked each other up!

Truman's Gorilla Crawl

It's an Easton in a Box!

The boys with my mom.
She really puts forth a huge effort
to spend time with them and I am so grateful!

There were a lot of people... thus a lot of gifts!

Christmas Morning!

The boys painted Lela some water color pictures
and framed them for their gift to her!

The Bow and Arrows they got!

Much of the time was spent preparing and
eating delicious food!

But the best was when the men had a Cajun Vision
at 11 p.m. and looked up a reciept on line and
cooked it together! It was adorable and hilarious!

I am so glad my boys got to spend some time with my Lela!

I am just so grateful for my family!
When they leave I feel a big hole and it takes a while for the pain to lessen.
I LOVE you Herrington's!
Thank you for such a wonderful Christmas!

Christmas 2011

My family drove 1200 miles to come and see us!
I was beyond words happy and grateful!

They have a foreign exchange student living with them and she came to.
Her name is Linda. We loved her!

All these shots were out of focus and I am so sad!
