Roller Coaster

I feel like I am on a roller coaster with Isaac......
Ups and downs all the time.
But today I am sharing an up and a funny.

First the up:

I was doing the dishes after dinner and the boys were getting ready for bed.
Isaac came up to me and said " Mom, is there anything I can do to help you?"

Imagine my face... utter shock! Eyes wide! ( He has never said this to me before!)
I kissed his little face over and over and told him he made me the happiest mamma ever and than I put him to work. And work he did!

Second the funny:

Then we were driving home from school and one of the girls in our car pool was telling Isaac that roosters are married to like 40 chicken and they give them the eggs to lay.
Isaac thought for a minute and then said,
" Wow, that is one busy rooster!"
He knows not how "busy" he really is!

I laughed and laughed!
Love him!

And here are some random pictures of our smiley, fat baby!

Big eyes for you Randon!

Whirlwind

So, in the next couple of months our lives will be in a whirlwind!
We will only be here in our home for 3 more weeks and then we will be going to Kentucky to find a house to rent for the next three years!

My mom will have the older boys while we are in KY and then we will go down to AZ to say goodbye to my family and then on to UT to say goodbye to John's family.

We come home the first of May and then will be moving a week later!
We will be moving May 14.

My emotions are so close to the surface!
I truly feel torn in two.
I am so excited and yet so sad to leave my dear friends here and be so far away from family!

To say my blog posts will be sparse is stretching it. I guess I will wait to post our Disney Land trip last week .

My mind is going 100 miles per hour and there is so much to do and people to be with!

Here we go.....

But here is Truman at 3 months!

Isn't he squishy and yummy!
We love him!

And Now Behold My Joy is Full!

I have been wanting to write what I have been feeling for some time now.
My heart is over flowing with gratitude and thankfulness and joy.

I feel so blessed each day to have this sweet little Truman in my life.

He is truly a dream angel.
He is so happy and content and serious.
He doesn't cry unless it is time to eat or sleep and even then it isn't crying.....

He has such a sweet feeling about him.
I feel like pinching my self everyday because this can't be real.

You really sometimes question wether or not you can love a second, third, or fourth child as much as you love your first......
But then you do! Oh you do!!!

This must be how Heavenly Father feels about all His children because He has allowed us to have these unearthly feelings!

Do I sound like I am gushing? It's because I am.
I feel that because Truman took so long to get here ( a year trying and a miscarriage) and then caused me so much pain and suffering....... I am even more thankful for him and truly treasure every single moment.

Isaac and Easton couldn't love him more or be more sweet.
They are so gentle and patient with my time with him.
They love to make him smile and Isaac says frequently " He is the cutest baby I have ever seen!"

I already posted some of the family pictures Leah took on Facebook, but I wanted to put most of them here for my future blog book.

These truly capture this magical time of my life and these sweet boys I get to love!!!!!

My joy is truly full!

Thank you again and again Leah!

Truman's Blessing Weekend

This was a beautiful weekend!
Being with family is truly what Heaven is and will be.

All of my 7 siblings and spouses and their kids came!
John's mom and dad came along with Grandma Ellis. (John's Grandma)

Grandma Herrington with her 8 grand kids!

Uncle Matt
He leaves in 3 weeks to Italy for his mission.
It was our last time to see him! :(
We will miss him so much, but he is going to be an amazing servant of the Lord.

Tru sleeping with Aunt Lela.

Cousin Charlotte putting him to sleep.
SO CUTE!!!!

Grandma brought masks!

All the kids watching a show.

There were a lot of people stuffed into my tiny house!
And every one handled it beautifully!

We ate yummy food (as usual) and just talked and laughed.
We sang some and played some fun games!

On Sunday morning we had a missionary Devotional and all the Brother in Laws shared advice and thoughts about their missions.
It was a wonderful experience. All the kids sang Armies of Heleman!
The spirit was so strong and we all felt so close.

Truman's blessing was beautiful!
It was so sweet and John said some wonderful things!

I am so grateful to everyone for making the long drive to be here!

I treasure the time spent with all of them with all my heart!

I am so grateful for family!
